Kings Troop move to Woolwich

The Duchess of Cornwall produced a packet of Polos and fed the horses as she visited the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery in Woolwich, a British Army unit renowned for its equestrian skills, of which Lauren Lloyd completed the electrical works.  See more details below.

March 2012

Lauren Lloyd completed the electrical works on the bespoke equestrian training facility and accommodation centre in Woolwich Garrison for the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

The Kings Troop rode out for the last time from St John's Wood on 6th February 2012 - on the 60th anniversary of their Royal creators Death.  It was a befitting spectacle for the many thousands who braved the cold weather, to pay their respects to the much loved military unit.

St Richards Hospital Ophthalmology Dept

St Richards Hospital Chichester is looking to the future with their new Ophthalmology Department.  Works are currently on-going at St Richards Hospital where a brand new Ophthalmology Department is being constructed.

Kier Southern have employed Lauren Lloyd as design and electrical contractors for this project.  Works commenced in November 2011 and are due for completion by the end of April 2012.

Harry Retires

We said farewell to Harry Fletcher who retired on 31st January after 14 years with the business.

Harry joined Lauren Lloyd back in 1998 to run the electrical lighting shop in Ferring.

Previously, a college lecturer, it soon became apparent that Harry had more skills, experience and a whole heap of knowledge in the IT and CAD area of technology. With this skill set he was a key player in advancing the business at Lauren Lloyd to what it is today.

He will be greatly missed by his work colleagues, but we all wish him well as he takes a well earned rest and enjoys his holidays cruising around and partaking in his hobby of ballroom dancing.
